Club Policies

Code of Conduct

Athletes will:

  • Bring a positive and encouraging attitude to class every day.

  • Always show respect for the coaches and fellow athletes.

  • Treat the facility and equipment with diligence and care.

  • Listen attentively and follow the direction of the coach.

  • Focus their energy on the challenges before them and put forward a genuine attempt to master the skills and technique.

  • Strive to ensure the safety of both themselves and others when using equipment.

  • Bring any classroom related concerns to the immediate attention of the coach and/or the board.

Coaches will:

  • Respect both athletes and fellow coaches at all times.

  • Come prepared to class with an attitude, energy, and lesson plan designed to inspire and challenge the athletes.

  • Ensure that the gym is a safe and welcoming environment in which to learn and grow.

  • Address all behavioral issues in a timely fashion so as to not compromise the groups productivity.

  • Listen to all concerns and requests with sensitivity and an open mind.

  • Be aware that they are a representation of the club both inside the gym and out in the community as well as a role model to young athletes and to act accordingly.

Parents/Observers will:

  • Stay off of the equipment and assist in keeping others off of the equipment unless they are currently in class.

  • Respect that our gym is a learning environment; please quietly observe practice and endeavor to keep the space distraction-free.

  • Bring any issues heard or observed to the attention of the coach and/or the board.

  • Encourage, support and provide positive comments and feedback to athletes in order to promote learning and continued effort.

  • Treat all athletes, coaches, volunteers, and board members with respect.

Refund Policy

There will be no refunds available after the third class. There will be no exceptions. Class withdrawals applied for 7 days prior to first class will receive a full refund (minus the Gym Sask Fee which is directly paid to GymSask at time of registration).

ALL Refunds for class cancellations or changes are subject to a $10.00 administrative fee.

Missed Classes

In the event that a gymnast misses a class due to any personal reason:

  • there will be no refund for the class missed

  • the gymnast cannot attend another class to make up for the missed class

Cancelled Classes

In the event that we, the Outlook Gymnastics Club, have to cancel classes for circumstances out of our control such as, but not limited to: bad weather, etc., we will not be offering makeup classes or refunds. However, if 3 or more classes have to be cancelled in a session due to external circumstances, we will then look at refunds or make-up classes.

Make-up classes for stat holidays, school breaks, or any other planned cancelled dates have already been accommodated for within our schedule. In the case that we have to cancel classes due to an in-club event, unavailable staff or other circumstances within our control, we will contact you via email regarding your make-up class date.
