Frequently Asked Questions

What should my child wear to gymnastics?

For recreational athletes, we ask that they wear tight-fitted athletic clothing and hair tied back. This expectation is for the safety of both the gymnast and coaches as we do not want their hair or clothing interfering with skills or spotting. Both shoes and socks are to be removed upon arrival.

For competitive athletes, we ask that all pre-competitive and competitive athletes wear a gymnastics suit. Shorts or leggings may be worn over top and hair must be tied back.

NO baggy clothing, jeans, jewelry, or zippers.

Is there anything I should have my child bring to gymnastics?

Just themselves and a water-bottle!

Are parents allowed to watch each week?

Due to our space restrictions and the high volume of classes, we have designated parent watch weeks. These are typically at the end of each session and we ask that you stick to the designated weeks as best as possible to best accommodate our gym needs. However, you will not be refused viewing.

Who should I contact if my child is going to be away, needs to be picked up early, etc.?

If you know this in advance, you can reach out to us via email at outlookgymnastics@gmail.com to let us know. Otherwise if it is last minute, you can send us an iMessage at outlookgymnastics@gmail.com, reach out via our facebook page: ‘Outlook Gymnastics’ or message your child’s coach directly.
